Is this mobile compliant with safety standards?
The materials used to craft the mobile are beech wood for the frame, cotton thread, recycled polyester fiber and felt for the figures, wooden beads, seed beads, polyester thread, felted wool, and brass caps for assembly.
Even if your baby happens to grab the mobile, you can rest assured that every model is designed so that no part can come loose. We recommend installing the mobile out of your baby’s direct reach.
By using our separately sold mounts, you ensure a stable, secure setup at the right distance. Our products proudly carry the CE mark, guaranteeing compliance with the strict safety and health standards of the European Union for items intended for young children.
From what age is it recommended to use a baby mobile?
It is recommended to use a baby mobile from birth to help stimulate vision and provide soothing comfort. Its use is especially beneficial up to about 6 months. After that, once your baby begins to sit up or reach for objects, the mobile should be removed from above the crib for safety reasons, though it can remain as a decorative piece in the nursery.
At what height is it recommended to install a baby mobile?
We recommend placing the mobile about 12 to 20 inches above your baby. This distance allows your little one to observe the shapes and colors without being able to grab them, ensuring safety while stimulating vision and supporting sensory development.
If the mobile hangs too low, you can shorten the string that attaches it to the mount. On certain models, such as Blue Ocean or Under the Sea, you can also reduce the length of the jellyfish tentacles by simply trimming the felt.
All hanging elements can be adjusted higher on their threads, giving you complete flexibility for the perfect height.
